Wedding industry awards

I met Christine on Sunday at a beautiful venue in Suffolk ( Butley Priory), we had a lovely morning even though it was tinged with sadness as  we both got a bit emotional thinking about her mum who died a few years ago,  she has voted for me in the National Wedding Industry Awards ( best makeup artist and best hair stylist categories) and sent me this lovely thank you note . . . 

Dear Pam,
 
It's a pleasure to vote for you! Pam, I can't thank you enough for everything you did for me, for the trial and the wedding day.

You helped to make my day absolutely perfect, you gave me the confidence I needed to get through the day and I have never had so many complements in one day! 

As I stood next to Rich at the ceremony, he could hardly believe his eyes and was in tears, he said I looked so beautiful!

I'm also very grateful for all your kind and caring comments and helping me to remember my mum, I have been wearing her ring ever since the day and really did feel she was there for us, especially with holding off the rain until just after dinner! 

Rich sends on his many thanks for everything you did for me, he wishes you could visit everyday! I have attached a couple of photos so you can see the huge smile I had as I walked down the aisle with my dad!! We will send on some more photos soon, there may be some better ones that are more in focus for the website once the rest are gathered together so if you can hold on, I will send on some more over the next few weeks. 
 
Sarah also looked amazing, her hair and make-up were wonderful and looked perfect with her dress, she was so happy with the results. 

Thank you so very, very much for making me feel like a princess on my wedding day and for making my new hubby very proud! 

We wish you all the very best with the awards, I only wished I could score 100 out of 10!!!  
You are a wonderful, caring person with a true and inspiring talent and passion for your work.

successful trial run

just to say thank you for making Louise feel so special on her trial run - she has been so disappointed about not losing weight and looking "fat"! She felt a million dollars after your visit so am thrilled that you will be helping her on the day.

Worked with the beautiful Georgie on Sunday at Barnett Hill, it rained a bit but she looked radiant and beautiful all day.

Bianca at Henley Hall Hotel, dress disaster averted!

Dress Disaster

Don't try to iron your dress on your wedding day with an unpredictable hotel iron!!

Dress disaster last week when Bianca's friend tried to iron her beautiful chiffon covered dress . . .and was left with a big hole melted out of the fabric right a the front!

Bianca had a second dress (purple!) that she had planned to wear for the evening, thank fully, and she looked totally gorgeous all day!

Here are a couple of pictures from our wedding day that turned out perfect. We still talk about it.

Thank you for being part of it. Everybody loved the outfit and the hair & make-up that suited the style of the wedding perfectly. 

We haven't been thinking of the white wedding dress at all (now is in the rubbish bin, oops). 

So no worries on our part.

So sorry I haven’t got back to you sooner and I’ve been meaning to select a few photos for you which best demonstrate the great work you did on my hair and make-up for my wedding day . . . 

I had so many comments about my hair and make-up both on the day and subsequently as others have viewed these photos. 

Thank you once again for doing such a perfect job in perfect style. 

Your personality and manner are perfect for the work you do, you made me feel so comfortable when I was actually rather anxious (I hadn’t counted on that at all!). 

It was great to have you there fitting in like part of the family with my sister and best friend. As I mentioned on my text I would love you to do it all again if I can find a special enough occasion.
